| The Port Zero BBS Net, a group made up of Amiga BBS SysOps has joined together to get the word out that the old school BBSs that were highly popular before the internet are still alive and in use. For those that used to use these BBSs, it's a walk through nostalgia. For the unlucky that never heard of or used a BBS, it's a lesson in computer history.

| The Anime Development for Amiga (ADA) team has released some new videos demonstrating the Secret of my Soul (SOMS) 3D-Engine. The Videos were captured on an A1200 with Bvision, 603e+@166 Mhz PPC and 96MB Fast. Other teams who are developing a Pirates! clone named Drake and another the Civiliazation clone Realm of Power are seeking additional help.

| Diego Casorran of Amiga.sf has ported the utilities ngIRCd v0.7.5 (IRC server) and gifsicle v1.40 (GIF twaddler) to AmigaOS. Also the utilities dbacl v1.5, cURL v7.10.8 and Wget v1.9.1 have been updates as well.
