@sinisrus

68K is the official platform for this release. That being said we tried to make sure it was compatible with MorphOS and AmigaOS 4.x

@terminills

Just wondering what the system requirements are, they don't as yet appear to be mentioned on the final-writer.com website?

@terminills

Just some technical questions:

You have made different version with different version numbers for AROS and AOS3.x

Are there major differences between the features of you new FinwalWriter versions?

Are they using the same source code (with CPU / OS dependent differences of course)?

There are differences and the AROS version will be updated to include the newer enhancements.

Yes all versions use the same source code.

Awesome, looking forward to the release! Will you be selling it directly from your website or through any other vendors?

From: Canada, eh?

How serious is this launch? It's June 29th today, but the final-writer.com website still looks under construction with placeholder type content.

The online store is hiding at the very bottom of the page, easy to miss unless you scroll down there. And it looks like the demos are mixed in with the actual products for sale... very confusing.

Is this the correct product page?

https://final-writer.com/ols/products/finalwriter-70-amigaos-31

The product title says FINALWRITER 7.3, but the features list calls it "FinalWriter 7.0". Again, very confusing.

I see very few promos on the wider web, and no YouTube videos about it. Even Timothy's channel is silent: https://www.youtube.com/@timothydeters6165/videos

What's going on?

@MarcioD

Haven't cared much about the website tbh ... however I did just clean it up :D

and yes that's the right link.

as for hype ... not my scene. never been big on it ... I was fortunate enough to be able to continue the Final Writer Legacy and that was my main goal.

@terminills

The realease of Final Writer is excellent news. Thank you for all the work put on it. I have two questions, if you do not mind.

1. How good is the AmigaOS 4 compatibility? I am interest to buy it, but I would like to avoid finding out that it is not that stable under OS4. So, can you share some information about it?

2. I see at the official page the lha archive is around 13.2MB. I assume that it doesn't include a PDF or any other format of the full manual. Is it something you are working on? Is there going to be an updated full manual for the application?

Thank you for your work and time.
