 WinUAE and other UAE variants perhaps, beside that what the need of providing a service MOS and AOS already have, transparent emulation?

If you give it UAE intergration, not only will it instantly have a lot more software (which is where AROS is lacking I feel), but it will also have a level of compatibility that MorphOS and OS4 will never match with their transparent emulation. Hardware banging stuff will work transparently. Imagine that! |

| I think this is going to be AROS's "Vista vs Leopard" moment. OS4 is stuck in the courts with neither side seemingly having any interest in a speedy resolution, and MOS 2.0 is not done yet. AROS can now come in out of nowhere and be able to (truthfully) claim that it's the only AmigaOS that can:
1) Run on the fastest hardware
2) Run on the cheapest hardware (not necessarily the same as 1 )
3) Run *all* your old programs, even the hardware banging ones.
If AROS can do that, it's seriously going to scoop the other two. Now AROS guys, don't drop the ball!
