| @thread Congrats. Interesting, and surprising news. Over the last handful of years there's been some pretty cool stuff done with the OS4 graphics subsystem(s).
@TommySammy
Seriously? Perhaps learn what it is you're dismissing before you dismiss it?
Gallium3d is supported and developed by hundreds of people over numerous systems, supporting multiple archs, and is much more advanced than Nova. There's also the fact gallium is a stack, not an api. As opposed to nova, which appears on 1 OS, has less developers than a person has on one hand, and supports 1 arch, and only a few GPUs from same vendor. Gallium/Mesa combo. is much more advanced in every way. With companies like Sun/Oracle, Intel, amd and nvidia all on the gallium boat it's hardly "dead". | Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think a vast majority of Sam460ex users, have the ATI Radeon™ 4000 Series graphics cards installed... (The same goes for the AmigaOne 500)
So support for these old cards, would be nice. |

| Currently there is no Radeon HD card with working Warp3D for Sam 440ep Flex.
Radeon HD 4000/5000 driver would be essential for us. Radeon HD 7XXX cards doesn't work with Flex. Last edited by utri007 on 22-Mar-2016 at 07:32 PM.

| @ Amigakit
I gather from what I've seen so far that the Radeon 6570 cards are also not supported. What comparable card (single slot & quiet) is recommended? _________________ - BCP AmigaOne X1000 & Amiga 4000

As there are no low-power, low-cost HD 7000+ cards supported by Warp3D, drivers for HD 5000/6000 would make sense. |

Radeon R7 250E or HD 7750 are lowest power cards supported now. These have silent variants too (don´t know if single-slot). |
