the price |
Since neither product is yet available, the price isn't really relevant at this point, and it's not like it will only be revealed once you've submitted your payment details. |

How do you know it's not for OS 3 only? |

Creating new content like this is costly, however it keeps developers active in the Amiga sector and provides them with the revenue from A-EON. A lot of the developers who contributed were lapsed and had all but left the Amiga, so the incentive of paid development work has helped them make the decision to dust off their keyboard and get coding again. I think this is good for us all. |
Well, that's all very well and good, but I completed your "form" asking for developers input/feedback/interest about three weeks ago now, and I've heard absolutely zero back from either AmigaKit or A-EON.
So, you have willing programmers (clinging onto expensive, under-used hardware for some reason) contacting you, but you do nothing about it. So, referring back to the message in my email, that's the negative attitude that I was referring to in the first place!

Honestly I dont get the thing... Ok to (sup)port new and powefull software to AmigaOS but what's the sense of classes/datatypes,
|
as already stated the classes and datatypes are new ones , not ones from the OS, do you criticise Oliver Roberts for selling his WarpDT series?
As far as I'm aware all software included in this package is an update on any versions publicly available. _________________ BroadBlues On Blues BroadBlues On Amiga Walker Broad

Maybe that i misunderstood you but didn't you wanted to write :
"As far as I'm aware NOT all software included in this package is an update on any versions publicly available" ?
Edit : sorry, just understood that you spoke about WarpDT and not about WBEnhancer package Last edited by zzd10h on 18-Nov-2015 at 12:13 AM.

The form/email response seems to be quite slow/poor. I emailed Aeon a good while ago regarding AmiStore, and waited for weeks getting no response. So I contacted Matthew directly via forum, and got instant response (within hours).
It appears the email aint being monitored as frequently as forums. |

Sadly, this has been my experience as well, even after a very encouraging conversation with Trevor about the program at AmiWest. |

Huh? Ofcourse I'm speaking about the Enhancer package. I just gave WarpDT as an example of thrird party datatypes no ones complains about.
And no, I did not mean NOT all software.
MVer is updated MultiEdit is new Clipviewer is new X-Dock is new Tunenet has been updated as far as I know etc etc
perhaps I should rephrase it slightly
"As far as I'm aware all software included in this package is either new or an update on any versions publicly available" ? _________________ BroadBlues On Blues BroadBlues On Amiga Walker Broad

I am very sorry for the delay. We have had a much bigger response to our developer programme than expected. We are still working through the list and you will receive a response shortly.
Each developer application is very bespoke because they bring different areas of expertise and interest. We are working to accommodate all of these with the roadmap we have in place. The discussion and subsequent application process therefore takes some time.
Thank you for you patience. _________________ Amiga Kit Amiga Store Links: www.amigakit.com | New Products | A600GS

That's good news! I think having a developer program is a great idea and hope it proves successful. |

To keep people informed of some of what's going on behind the scenes. |

Yeah, the same trolls show up no matter what. They probably spend a lot of time arguing with themselves in a mirror. _________________ http://www.hostcove.com http://www.youtube.com/hostcove Sam460 : X1000 : X5000

| A-EON is hoping to have an exciting surprise addition to the Enhancer Software for OS4. This will be assuming the software can reach a set level in time for inclusion. _________________ Amiga Kit Amiga Store Links: www.amigakit.com | New Products | A600GS

| Im not much for software packages at least not for os4 as some are or feels like it should be in os4 already like some mentation and tunenet etc i would rather see as its own.
For 68k it sounds ok for the people that maybe wants a more complete package as the os3 probably lacks some stuff. I dont know. Last edited by Kicko on 20-Nov-2015 at 09:37 PM.
