Internet News   Internet News : UtilityBase is (re)launched
posted by nicomen on 25-Oct-2004 12:19:33 (2681 reads)
The website UtilityBase is (re)launched. Originally started as an AmigaDE site, it has now gotten a new name, a new look and focus on all types of Amiga development including AmigaOS, MorphOS, AROS and AmigaAnywhere.

UtilityBase sports among other things tutorials, tips and tricks, news, source and more related to development for Amiga-based systems.

In addition there's an own forum with different categories for the different Amiga compatible systems

In other words, if you are a developer and want to benefit from or contribute to updated development information, you might want to take a look at UtilityBase.com

This is great news and what an exciting concept for a web site....

I don't program...well I tried it many, many years ago when I bought the TI 99/4a computer ($50) and saved the basic progam I had "written" to tape (audio tape storage, what a concept).

I remember the thrill of seeing that little program come to life again when reloading it off the tape recorder.

This site brought back all of that and also the thought this might be a large step in healing the rift that has occured in the Amiga community...that would be very nice!

I started to program on a T99/4A too!
It is incredible what was possible to do with 4kb of RAM and a Basic Interpreter...

I've appreciated this new a lot, and I'm currently downloading some other bits for being able to program something in the Amiga!

Why don't link utility base and intuition base each other?

Great idea ikir!

Good news nicoman, hope the cooperation increases.

@ Ryu

The sites do have some overlap but seem to compliment each other nicely.

Thanks to both for serving the newly emerging Amiga community!
