How could Hyperion answer that? We aren't doing any hardware (at least not yet), and everything I know from other companies is under NDA.

Hmmm... Not doing hardware yet, other companies... I haven't really been paying attention lately, but wouldn't that statement qualify as a "goodie"? :D

Unless it's old news to anyone but me of course, in which case I'll just go and have a quiet Nøgne Ø Oatmeal Stout over there in the corner.

I think this is a great idea.

I'll try to tune in from work if I'm not too busy (we have 24/7 coverage, and it's my turn for day shift through the holidays).

Yeah sure, I mean, some people pay other people for whipping them good, I prefer doing OS 4.

At least you'r not doing it from a selfish motive, as people normally do. You let yourself be spanked hard for many years, just trying to keep the AmigaOS alive and kicking, and perhaps make a buck or two......if that's your real motive?

What makes you and Thomas tick ??? (and what cars do you have )

Maybe it's not the "what" but rather the "how". If I see a question spiced with anger, then I usually can't restrain myself from replying likewise. I am surprised that you find this bothersome...

Bothersome only because it unneccesary. ( Asking why you do a IRC´session must
have offended you a lot, sorry )

I'm not posting here again in a while so you don't have to deal with me.

@Manu

I doubt people are looking at you as the big evil in this thread. Don't take it to personal, it's very easy to get misunderstandings on a forum.

Uh, please don't try to read anything into that statement... there is nothing to be interpreted.

No, what offended me was things like "Haven't we gotten all the answers already ? " (I interpret that as "you are babbling anyway") and "The answers to the rest of the questions are pretty much "when it's done" anyway." (there is only one question with that answer)

If you are trying to make me feel guity now, I'm afraid I'll have to disappoint you.

Unluckly I won't be near a computer on Dec 28th, but I want to thank the whole OS4 team for their work and this new opportunity to communicate with them.

Ciao
Gabriele

You seem to be easily offended - or sometimes you are doing too much interpreting. I don't think he was meaning something like that.

I just found a small Basic-Prg on A.org which could be used as a script for the IRC-session

I think he was referring to the word "companies" rather than the "Hyperion arent producing hardware yet". Meaning you have several bit of hardware (or more than 1 at least) that you are getting OS4 running on (presumably you wouldnt have NDA's etc if you werent). But we knew this was likely already (Eyetech + ACK + Troika = Companies)

Apparently I really haven't been paying attention lately. I didn't know about ACK, and I assumed Eyetech were out of the picture. Nice surprise, though I think I will have another beer to celebrate

I'm more excited about this than Chrimbo and my Birthday (Just before Crimble, but don't feel you have to get me anything, well, not too expensive anyway!) combined!
