Well done. No idea what's different apart (whats new in 1.0) from the version step from just reading info online. I cross my fingers for Warp3D or something related to video play back coming up soon!

Side note, the Aeon technology website renders very poorly on mobile - never seen anything like it before - only half of the browser display is used.

Very big improvement on my Sam460 now i can watch youtube videos with Odyssey and Fab's internal html5 video player with Fab's script converter in 400x240 with 98% cpu busy and audio/video syncronized, my congratulation to HANS, bravo !

The download page in the support area has (password protected) download links for "RadeonHD Driver for AmigaOne 500/X1000", but both of these are dated 15th November 2013 - which would match the release of v1.0 RC2 back in November.

Has there actually been an update released, other than Amigakit's CD version? The A-EON press release doesn't mention any releases, just that it's "no longer beta".

I don't care either way, I just need to know how to word my news item.

radeonhd.chip is new version 1.0 on the Aeon site the date is not correct

I am confused. Which download is for the X1000?

RadeonHD.lha or RadeonHD.chip ?

I don't even know what the .chip means. How are us uninformed people suppose to know?

You need both. the .chip file needs to be included in the folder before installing. See the readme

This release seems to be a final stability release to get the driver up to v1.0
I suspect the next release will be payable and will bring new features.
