Software News   Software News : 20th Anniversary Bonus Pack for AmigaOS 4.0 released
posted by AmigaPapst on 22-Jul-2005 13:58:21 (16785 reads)
Leuven, Belgium - 22. July 2005

To commemorate the upcoming 20th anniversary of the launch of the Amiga platform on July 23rd, Hyperion Entertainment is pleased to provide registered AmigaOS 4.0 users with a special treat in the form of a much improved version of Intuition and several "themes".

This new version of Intuition unlocks functionality which demonstrates the very high degree of customisation of the user-interface which is now possible under AmigaOS 4.0.

Here are some screenshots of the themes in action:

The "Default" theme (for reference).
The "Atez" theme.
The "ZAmi" theme.
The "Classic" theme.
The "MT" theme.

You can find the download
here. Enjoy!

If there is anyone here that had plans to go somewhere with the wife or girlfriend, forget about it. Drop her off at her mom and hurry back. It's time to get cracking.

Me too. It's very similar to the nice Menio theme in Zeta R1 expect I think it looks a bit nicer, more smooth.
Can anyone possibly use the classic theme? Yuch!

don't disrepect the classic theme! ;)

just felt that I had to say the same thing as i said in another thread here again, as this is where it belongs....

damn! that ateZ theme would kick butt if only for one VERY annoying thing.
The windows are supposed to look like a file, and the upper part of the windows looks great, with the thick part of the title bar, and the thin part, but for it to look really good, the bottom bar should be thin aswell, as it is now, it just looks stupid imho...

i checked out some zeta screenies, and the app windows have indeed a thin bottom bar, and it looks a million times better, can this be fixed in some way?

cool update anyway!

EDIT: Ah, start Dopus4 and there will be a thin bottom border, looks terrific! I just whish it was like that everywhere!

My favourite is Classic, simply because the fonts are so easy to read due to high contrast between fonts and the background everywhere on that shot.

I really love the Zami theme best of all of them, and it would be nice to replace AquaX with this new, beautiful Zami Theme! I would also need a nice background picture. I hope that the background in the Zami Theme is available as well

Hyperion, i really have to thank you! These themes are beautiful, and the Intuition is so beautiful that it simply justify itself why MUI isn't needed!

I love the Zami theme! Excellent replacement of the AquaX Theme! I'll use Zami!
