The AROS Archives is up and ready to accept your files!

This web site will be the main repository for all AROS software, but we need your help. Software needs to be uploaded to the site. Developers are definitely encouraged to upload their own software.

"There is some documentation now to help explain WookieChat commands, and hopefully make the program easier to understand for people new to IRC. Maintaining the 68k version was getting too problematic for various reasons, so from version 1.6 onwards WookieChat is for AmigaOS4 only."

Wet is the application for OS4 that displays the current weather on your Workbench - in the titlebar, as an icon or simple in a Reaction-based GUI.

This new version includes support for displaying forecasted weather up to 24 hours in advance - where available.

A new version of AmiPodder, the podcast download and management program, is now available.

This release has a minor change to the code that checks feeds for new podcasts which makes it much more efficient and therefore quicker.

Events   6th Anniversary Amiga North Thames usergroup

On Sunday September the 11th 2005 Amiga North Thames, London's Only Amiga usergroup will be celebrating it's 6th Anniversary.

For Starters we will have AmigaOne's on Display running PegXMac The PPC Mac Emulator and a Demonstration of Hollywood for OS4. All this plus a very, very ecentric, some say rabid, chairman, what more do you want? Everyone welcome, and you don't have to live in London to attend!

Events   Last Call for Scunthorpe Amiga User Group meeting 3rd September

Well its only a week away, next saturday (September 3rd) we're having our usergroup meeting at the Keadby and Althorpe WMC near Scunthorpe.

All are invited. I'll have OS4 running on the A1200 and A4000, and I'll even boot into MOS if you want to see that running on an A1200.

We'll also be building up an A4000 for one of our members aswell as having a head to head game of stunt car racers.
