I just read the readme file and was wondering what is the format used for saving? I understood the video is stored first in raw data then converted to single frames, but is there a way to make a for example MPEG file from it?
Many thanks to the author(s), this is one feature I plan to use a lot _________________ "Those are my principles, and if you don't like them... well, I have others." (Groucho Marx)

| Wow cool. Looks like TvR has overtaken my own SuperTV in some ways Doesn't look like you can control the TV directly from the TV window yet, though. _________________ Playstation Network ID: xeron6

| Good to see some new software for Mediator users - for the first time in ages!
Couldn't get the previous version to work with any TV card I tried: Hauppauge, Avermedia, VoodooTV; hope I'll have more success with this one!
@Amiboy
I've done some pretty extensive research into TV cards for the Mediator. I must admit i overlooked Versalia, though. Would be interested to hear what the Lifeview card is like, if poss.
Cheers. |

| well you could use something like ffmpeg, if the author added support for either jpeg's or ppm's (ppm's should be easy to implement and fast to save to disk and lossless ).
the only thing I have trouble with is the SVHS support, to put it bluntly, it doesn't work for me...all I get is a black and white picture, even if I set SVHS tooltype to the same value that TV and SuperTV requires, it still remains in black and white. _________________ MicroSoft Game Studios ==

| @Amiboy,
Cheers. Good luck. I'll look out for your post.
That is the exact set-up I went for apart from:
I'm stuck with a Blizzard 1230 - I can't yet afford BPPC, or even '060, as I'm still paying for the other stuff!
I haven't been able to find a HD FDD/ Catweasal adaptor, (and am not sure how the Catweasal would fit with a Mediator in place), so would be grateful to hear any ideas on that. |
