| The SAM version of 4.1 is being released as beta due to the fact that the testing of the distribution CD wasn't as widespread as the AmigaOne version.
Although, that said, don't let that put anyone off. The ISO is based on the AmigaOne version, and runs very stable. The recent ANT demonstration of 4.1 on the SAM was completely free from GrimReaper visits, and everything that was tried worked as expected.

Yeah, a bit of a disappointment, but as it's close (identical?) to the version shown by Simon Archer at this months ANT meeting, I am not worried (as it seemed to work well).

It's basically the AmigaOne version with just the appropriate Sam-specific components replaced.
