This is positive news surely! Programming jobs in the Amiga world aren't that common and they obviously feel the market is worth stumping up for additional native development time. It's also good that they recognise it would be better if development was made more transparent and are explicitly looking for that burden to be met by the newbie :)

I wonder if any of the people taking the time to make negative comments about DiscreetFX are even interested in buying the final product ..

I would have considered buying it before but after the last "guess when we
will upload the video" charade I finally had it with them. If it's something
I can't stand that's someone representing a company and behave unprofessionally.

why, who ever was behaving professionally in the amiga scene anyway? insisting on attention to repetitive boredom is another matter.

True, but there are rarely big and pro companies left anymore.
Hope someone will answer the call and bring an end to the DiscreetFX having no new products "state of misery". At least they kept communicating, donating small bounties and prizes.

obviously he managed to implement moving viewport around the object after all these years. apparently this is a new feature that wasnt available in the previous versions of this software? how on earth is that possible that you have released plugins for lightwave once upon a time? not that i ever had seriousl opportunity to test them.. maybe it was someone else..

You do finally understand I'm not the coder of version 6.0 or any version right? DiscreetFX has paid for this contract work done by someone else. It's taking way to long I 100% agree. That's why we are trying to add another programmer to the project.
