New Freespace mission available for download from OS4Depot... Just unzip the file and copy the .fsm file to the \data\missions folder.
This mission came from the PC Version without much modifications...
I created also a modified version with a new "Einstein" ship of class "USTAC Millenium" (That's HUGE)... And loaded a few new sounds... Let me know if you're interested and I will upload it...
-- Also posted in the "Freespace" Tread... More missions to some.

ACGGbg Easter Party |
| Events posted by shoe on 13-Apr-2006 8:09:03 (3368 reads) |
Tomorrow at 1300 hours we open the doors for ACG Gothenburg's second Amiga Easter Party. It's actually just a small local gathering of Amiga fans on the west coast but this year we'll have a few surprises. Like already mentioned in the forums we will show Quake3 running on OS4 and our very own TechMage Ole-Egil Hvitmyren will hold a seminar about PCB design and AVR programming. He will also bring his PCI Express graphics card for a demo on A1/OS4.
Read more about the details in Swedish on safir.amigaos.se.

Together with Rapport, a Silicon Valley startup, the company previewed the Kilocore1025, a processor with a total of 1025 cores that promises not only to boost processing speed but also to operate at low power levels.

AmigaOne: Centralized order for Onboard-Soundchip |
| hardware OS4 posted by spotUP on 10-Apr-2006 20:09:19 (6662 reads) |
AmigaOne: Centralized order for Onboard-Soundchip The AC97 soundchip (Sigmatel STAC9752T) installed on the first few batches of AmigaOne motherboards has been removed in later production runs as it seemed that it wouldn't work anyway due to a hardware bug.
But Davy Wentzler and Stephen Brookes proved later on that the problem could be solved in software and released a working audio driver.
