Who cares? I have tons of apps that are up to date which are all missing on Amiga. And there are many hardware models out to buy. For Amiga there is nothing.

Amiga was great in those days. Was a good time, had a lot of fun. Now moving a step forward.

Hyperion really do deserve to be in control of AmigaOS, if only they`d turned up sooner; everything they`ve done so far is what I`ve wished an AmigaOS influencer* would do for years.

You misunderstand, it`s not a logical choice; AmigaOS is just...gratifying? Even the simplest task is a pleasure. I find it hard to resist booting into Amithlon to browse AW, just because it`s so NICE (despite the crap browser - I don`t care (Imagine an OS so good that people tolerate ridiculously under-specified apps just to use it!)).
It`s like cocaine Vs speed; speed is cheaper, longer-lasting and less addictive. In theory both have the same effect but you just can`t compare the experience :o)
Many things in life are there entirely for pleasure, Amiga is one...

Hehe, i mentioned this one to an old Amiga-friend of mine whom is now a
fully PC-fan and hates the Amiga. He used to call himself Amigaslikker...

When i mentioned the link provided, and told him about the new AmigaOS 4 site
from Hyperion, he appologized himself saying he lost interest and didn't
want to see it What a coward! And he kept complaining about x86
support and such things. I mentioned Cell and such...He even said
PowerPC is DYING! NO ####ING WAY!!! Sorry the language, but this
old buddy is completely WRONG! He is jealous, but won't admit it!

I completely ignored him anyway

Great work! This is really exciting. This give new hope for the amiga-future.
