I get "Cannot open font .ttf with size 20!" requester. This is on OS3.9 running on Amithlon after unarchiving to Ram: and running from there!

Ok, it runs here but..

Generates a DSI error before it does anything, ignoring that causes it to open a screen with only the top left corner of the clock showing in the bottom right of the screen, I took a screen grab and marked the visible area on it.

Did that and this time it ran okay on it's own screen (is it posible to run it in a window), set up the alarm and when the time for alarm got error message:

"Function val() not found!
File`: despertado (current line: 405)"

Again this was the 68k version running on Amithlon.

Alarm clock open a custom 640x480 screen, you need it to have the program running on full screen mode, the problem with the alarm.... you selects any mp3 file or drawer to the assigned alarm? I test it under morphos uae and also is betatested on classic amiga, working fine.

Works perfect here, and it's beautiful! :)
Is it made using Hollywood?

@amipuzas

With the 68k and OS4 version I get the same screen problem as Severin.

There's something fishy about the screen opened, it must have weird custom tags otherwise p96 would use the right resolution, maybe the way hollywood calls BestModeID() or maybe it doesn't use that function at all?

For now I just used Prefs/Screens to force any screen request with the name HOLLYWOOD.1 to open at 640x480 but it would be best if the screen had its own name like "Alarm Clock" otherwise any other hollywood app will open at that 640x480 resolution too.

The fullscreen tooltype has no effect, it's always fullscreen here, but that's okay it looks best that way.

And yes it would be great to be able to select the image directory.

I tried stripping the two executable and hollywood really didn't like that, didn't crash but didn't recognize the code has been an applet.

I also tried running it with an empty image dir and hollywood didn't like that either, collapsing in the rnd() function with a Division by Zero error, though it intercepted it rather than crash which is nice.

I'd recommend uploading the archives seperately for each OS, it's pretty big as it is.

That said it's a very nice alarm clock!

Petrol---

It doesn't work here no matter what you say because you assume gfx mode wrong.
I threw a lot of SDL stuff away because it tries to switch to 640x480x32 --That's an OS4 FakeMode. My TFT/LSD monitor won't support that 85.1Hz ouput. Can I have any mode in 16 bit?

32bit gfx doesn't work. 640x480 is a FAKE mode. IIRC, 640x480 is an old
classical Amiga reference to 24 bit gfx. Do you comprehend?

well, i add the tooltype to use window mode or full screen to the program, you will choose a custom screen mode from requester now, i think that will work in mostly configs. A new version surely will be out tomorrow
