ffmpegGUI v1.2 released - adds mapping and play menu |
| Software News posted by ktadd on 19-Jan-2009 10:22:43 (3411 reads) |
ffmpegGUI v1.2 - a GUI front end for the OS4 compile of the ffmpeg program.
Version 1.2 adds a tab page to support mapping file streams as well as well as a menu to play the video files with an external player specified by the VPLAYER tooltype. (ie. MPlayer or DvPlayer). Also added support for the -shortest command.
See below for a full list of changes.
Version 1.2 (Released version) Added VPLAYER tooltype to specify a video player that can be launched from ffmpegGUI. (CAUTION: The Special version of DvPlayer does not appear to exit cleanly if the video type is not supported. This can cause ffmpegGUI to hang. The registered version is fine.) read more...

APC&TCP: DigiboosterPro Status Report |
| Software News posted by AndreasM on 19-Jan-2009 9:43:18 (2161 reads) |
The development of the new DBPro3 is slowly but steadily taking shape.
Our first goal is and was to code the whole program completly new to get more structure in order to improve and be more efficient.
Furthermore, the handling is the same as in DBPro2.x. The current development status is the internal version Alpha 17th.
In the next 3-4 months, we will give you a very detailed status update and we hope to release a beta-demoversion. We want to emphasize again, that can not give you more further details. We do not want to pledge that we will not keep that promise.

There are now 11 projects open and up for grabs and 15 assigned projects on OpenAmiga.org. 2008 provided a slow start for OpenAmiga, as expected with the number of available developers for our platform. Hopefully 2009 will speed things up a bit with the SAM adding more and more os4 users to the fold. Still we managed to submit the extended mouse pointer types project to Hyperion and quite a bit of source code was submitted to the svn. Current status: (Please click on read more...)

Changes in this version (v1.02):
- Fixed recursive directory scanning (did not work with file requesters)
- Fixed a bug which caused a lockup when pressing Enter on resize window
- Added progress bar for loading images which pops up after 1 second to indicate that the image is still loading (except during slideshow)
- Added progress bar for scanning directory with 'Cancel' button to allow the scanning to be stopped in case it takes too long (read more)
