OS4 fix for AmigaAMP WarpUP released.. |
| Software News posted by Samwel on 27-Feb-2006 10:04:24 (5681 reads) |
Andreas Magerl of AmigaFuture said this on the AmigaFuture forum:
"I've recompiled all engines from the new codebase once again after cleaning up the resource allocation and deallocation routines. There should be no memory leaks anymore and the "unfreed signals" bug under OS4 should be gone as well."
Get it from AmigaAMP downloads page.

New OS4 RDesktop Video on IntuitionBase.com |
| hardware OS4 posted by Jorge on 27-Feb-2006 3:39:21 (2866 reads) |
Thanks to Ryu, IntuitionBase hosts a new video I have made real quick from my Workbench running multiple screens and the RDesktop in one of it. It demonstrates the RDesktop performance (running WinXP on an AthlonXP 1800+) as well as the new AmigaOS4 #4 screen dragging capabilities.
Check it in the Multimedia section of IntuitionBase.com here:

New PacMan05 on OS4Depot |
| Software News posted by Jorge on 26-Feb-2006 22:26:44 (2337 reads) |
I've uploaded a new version of PacMan05 to OS4Depot (and Aminet).
New:
Version 1.0.6 02/26/2006 -js- - rewritten Event handling. Uses ablit/abu event handling including native AmigaInput support - removed LowLevel library emulation (now AIN native) - fixed keyboard delay (no "event flickering" in keyboard mode) - keyboard is now always active (in parallel to joystick) - Joystick supports both, hats and stick - fullscreen / window mode switch works now (sort of) - removed external mod plugin (savage mod error) - now statically linked to clib2/ablit/abu (no shared libs necessary) - executeable size is down to ~700K (incl. linked in graphics & sound (90%)) - still bugs left. Some stuff needs a complete re-write. But the game is pretty playable.

There three patches available for the full version and the demo.
The demo of Desert Racing (230MByte file, needs 600MB HD) can be also obtained from the Support-Homepage.
The demo version isn't needed to be downloaded again it is sufficient to apply the patch which is only a few KByte.
