RockBEAT 1.3.4 released |
| Software News posted by jahc on 23-May-2006 9:23:52 (2276 reads) |
RockBEAT 1.3.4 is now available on os4depot and my homepage.
This is another minor release, but with the emphasis on bringing stability up. It seems pretty good now, apart from the odd freeze while playing back, which I'm having extreme difficulty reproducing.
Changes: - Fixed GUI clean up issues that caused instability when quitting and reloading - Removed a divide by zero bug in two places!
What does this program do? (Read on)

AmigaOne CPU Module Demonstration Rescheduled: |
| Hardware News posted by ackcontrls on 22-May-2006 15:56:17 (13598 reads) |
| I know.....a slightly longer wait. As with all plans with tight schedules, I have hit a bit of a technical barrier that prevents me from making the live demonstration of a working CPU module. Similarly, I didn't have the time to set up a proper agenda for the event. I was not expecting people to physically want to visit in person and have addressed this properly. In addition a few others mentioned that the original date being on a Monday would be difficult to participate in. Here is the new date, timing and location for the event:

Hallo everyone,
I've freshly uploaded help files on OS4Depot.net. The archive, called "installation.lha" contains helping files for WordWorth7, PageStream 4.1 and TurboCalc 5.
I've encountered problems during installation after having installed OS4 Update#4 on a blank harddisk.
I hope that it will help you.
Nicola

Grim Fandango plays out on Amiga OS 4 |
| Software News posted by Toaks on 21-May-2006 22:19:28 (4341 reads) |
Today the dark and mysterious (Le) frak released one of his offsprings into this sawy river of x86 posts and endless trolling.
To play the dark skeleton from the lucas gang you will need the Datafiles (approx 1.2 GB) and it should be available in shops still (or ebay etc).

I've made a few bugfixes and Marco van den Heuvel have implemented a lot of setting dialogs and made versions for AmigaOS3, AmigaOS4, MorphOS and AROS (i686).
Grab a copy for your AmigaOS flavour of choice at http://www.amidog.com/.

TiMidity ported to OS4 |
| Software News posted by alfa on 19-May-2006 21:52:23 (6343 reads) |
| In the past weeks I was hard working again. I've made a port of TiMidity to OS4. This wasn't as easy as I thought at first. TiMidity - source is prepared to use the ./configure command from bsh (on UNIX-style systems), which isn't (yet) available on OS4. So I've had to prepare the whole source-stuff "by hand". This was hard. By this way I removed all unneccessary stuff, to have a startpoint with the "basic" functions of TiMidity: playing MIDI-files or converting them to soundfiles (Wav-format).

MMKeyboard is a multimedia keyboard driver for any Amiga compatible computer systems.
--> MMKeyboard.lha
You all know PDAs where you use a pen to draw invisible lines on the display. The PDA is converting these combinations into characters or functions.
