Amigaworld.net News   Amigaworld.net News : A-EON FAQ and info
   posted by tomazkid on 2-Mar-2010 23:53:25 (11716 reads)
There is now a thread named A-EON Frequently Asked Questions and Information in the Developer Projects Forum.
This thread will contain FAQ as well as other useful information about A-EON and AmigaOne X1000.
You can also send in your own questions to them, and there is a chance it makes it to the FAQ.

If you have a question that you would like answered, please send them by email to amigaworldfaq@a-eon.com .

""Due to the sheer volume of questions we are unable to answer every question directly, but we’ll endeavour to answer as much as we can in this thread over the coming weeks. ""

The thread itself will be locked for comments, but you are of course free to discuss it in some other thread outside the Developer Projects Forum.

A-EON Frequently Asked Questions and Information thread.

@tomazkid,

Thank you for this. I would love to see more specifics on this. There are many questions that can help weed out the whiners and naysayers.

Looking forward to it.

Chris

@kronos

No. Not A-Cube. A-eon.

A-eon has nothing to do with A-Cube.

But both A-eon and A-Cube are active partners of Hyperion.

Very good move. Some kind of info was badly needed, if you ask me. Thank you for providing it, and lets hope you can add to it with regular intervals.

an a-eon.com site could solve all the problems and answer all the faqs.
i can't see anything useful to this move, except more and more speculation...

I know I'm the bad guy here right now, but seriously this is the kind of thing that just makes me shake my head in disbelief.

There were many many great questions that users came up with and I 100% understand they are unable to answer them all, as they said, because there were tons of questions. I have to ask why then respond to, this one for example, when they don't even give an answer?

"Q. Who is designing/building the hardware?"

Seems like it would have been more valuable actually "answering" questions they could answer instead of giving us the old "Fleecy Response" type stuff.

I feel like I learned 0 from that FAQ. With all the great questions people posted it would have been nice to see some real information. Oh, well, flame suit on....

It sounds like they do not want to spoil any information that might be gained in the soon to be released Amiga Future 83. Lets hope the interview is informative and that there will be more questions answered soon after its release here on the the FAQ.
