| I would like to hear rogue say something about this. Despite the fact that he is not employed by hyperion and rarely speaks of the standings between hyperion and amiga inc, he is our best source of information. he usually knows what is going on. maybe we can lure him here with some candy or something ? Correct me if i'm wrong, but i think that you wouldn't need a license to build an addon/accelerator for classic systems with an os < 4... so i'd assume they're talking about an OS >= 4

| Let's just wait and see first. The past 2 years in the Amiga world I have only seen announcements as a reaction to a negative mood or to put a news item against some other news item. None of the things that were ever discussed in those news items actually resulted in anything. For now I don't believe anything.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is Amiga Inc's way of snubbing the more professional and ready for mass production product that is the Sam440EP. It would be just like them to back the flakey hardware (no proof yet that it is - just conjecture) in order to assure failure

| Elvis might have a better chance! I'm really nervous when I read this announcement. Ack has a long history of unreliably and last minute excuses, it doesn't give me any satisfaction saying that but these are the facts Please Ack more information and definitive proof soon!!!

Maybe they prefer ACK as they are smaller company that is easier to bully/buy out without to much hassle?
