| Software News posted by bugg on 13-Sep-2006 21:17:44 (2295 reads) |
The AROS(Amiga Research Operating System) guys will be quite smug tonight in the knowlege that OSNews has released a glowing review of their Operating System which you all can read here.
They explain the history of the OS, improvements made over OS 3.1 and applications you can run on it. Its not all roses they do have a few bad points but not a bad review I must say.
Be sure to check it out.

| Software News posted by diegocr on 13-Sep-2006 19:12:16 (2397 reads) |
7zUI is a simple MUI Interface to decompress 7-Zip archives, thats the very first version 0.1, being 100% AmigaOS Native (no ixemul crap needed) an compiled to be as fast as possible, the memory required to decompress archives isnt as high as for the ixemul version as well.

PSPUAE 0.55 Released |
| News posted by Amiguero on 13-Sep-2006 9:33:31 (1935 reads) |
Another update to the Amiga Emulator for the PSP.
Source: http://www.pspuae.com/
Download it from here
Update details as follows:
[quote] V0.55 - MrModem Update - Added some more Joystick mapping options. You can now use any button to control Amiga joystick 0. - Changed all sceCtrlReadBufferPositive to sceCtrlPeekBufferPositive. This should speed things up a little, because sceCtrlReadBufferPositive always waits for vsync. - Fixed a "bug" that caused the PSP to crash if you tried to exit using the home button. - Added Bilinear filtering when zoom is turned on.

This is a DvPlayer DVD plugin based on libdvdcss present in MPlayer
Copy the file dvdvcd.plugin into your DvPlayer/dvplugins directory. This replaces the original dvdvcd.plugin which comes with DvPlayer, so you might want to make a backup of the original.
You should see the Crypted DVD with DVPlayer.
The plugin is available here
Enjoy Andrea Palmatè
