Software News   Global Gladiators game for OS4
Software News posted by NutsAboutAmiga on 23-Mar-2005 21:22:58 (5091 reads)
Thanks to Andreas Falkenhahn, Hollywood is now available for AmigaOS4 so I compiled my Global Gladiators game for OS4 too. I do not have OS4 here but my tester says it runs like a dream! I'm still on MorphOS here but I do not see a reason why I shouldn't support the fellow OS4 community! Here you go! Enjoy this cool game now on your AmigaOS4.0 PPC setup!

Amigaworld.net News   Follow-up from Garry Hare
Amigaworld.net News posted by DaveyD on 22-Mar-2005 0:15:42 (34650 reads)
As many of you know I don't spend much time on public boards. But when I woke up to full e-mail, jammed cell messages and many of my people pointing me to specific posts, I made an exception and have now spent several hours reading your comments and speculation. I certainly didn't mean to set all this off. My motivation in agreeing to the IRC was clearly my insanity - hopefully temporary. One disadvantage to this means of communication is it does not allow for quick follow-up questions. And, as an aside, the bot cut off some of my best and most controversial comments. But I guess the ones that got through filled that bill.

Software News   JAmiga progressing
Software News posted by elwood on 21-Mar-2005 19:26:51 (3038 reads)
JAmiga is now approaching a state where we feel comfortable about releasing the next version.
As a "preview" for all interested developers, we now do a daily snapshot of the cvs sources which can be downloaded from our website (JAmiga Download). This is currently configured to compile on Classic and MorphOS systems. I'm still waiting for input about AmigaOS 4.0.
