First AmigaOS 4.0 Pre-Release update available |
| hardware OS4 posted by MikeB on 11-Oct-2004 0:21:36 (16779 reads) |
It is with considerable satisfaction that Hyperion Entertainment can now announce the immediate availability for download of the first Amiga OS 4.0 Developer Pre-release update for registered Amiga OS 4.0 users.
Notice: A moderator pressed the wrong button by mistake and deleted the previous news item and 120+ comments. Oh well, though luck, feel free to start again.

Take a break from exploring the OS4.0 update... |
| Software News posted by evilrich on 11-Oct-2004 4:34:08 (3936 reads) |
...and play a game of Kobo Deluxe instead. See http://www.rcdrummond.net/amiga/ for a new OS4.0 build of this fast-paced and addictive shoot-em-up built on the SDL toolkit. I take no responsibility for any lack of user productivity caused by installing this game on your machine.
Note: many more of my OS4 ports and projects will be uploaded here in the coming days/weeks. So stay tuned.
Have fun, Rich

| From the PPC 970 thread in the Amigaworld forums, Digitaldisaster has made an announcement that the PPC970 website is now available in a beta format. There are still some issues to be resolved with the finialisation of the domain name transfer, and there is still room for additional help on the website.

The Total Amiga Website is Back! |
| Announcement posted by rhino on 10-Oct-2004 8:50:17 (2065 reads) |
The Total Amiga Magazine website and totalamiga.org e-mail addresses have been down for the last few weeks due to a problem getting our domain registrar to re-direct the domain at the new amigaworld.net server.
After several support calls, the problems have finally been resolved and the website (including the on-line ordering service) and e-mail are back up and running. Visit it at:
http://www.totalamiga.org
The website problems have not affected magazine production and we are expecting to release issue 19 in November as planned.
Thanks to DaveyD for all his help in getting us back on-line!
