I see. I bought a new A500 in 1987 I think it was. I wanted an A2000, but I could not afford one. After Commodore went under the A2000s started showing up in the local classified sales ads. I managed to pick up three of them for just pennies. I guess I can say that the only modern Amiga I had was the A500 when it was new.
Finally when the AmigaOnes were announced my finances were a lot better. I ordered one straight away. Looks like I have had it for 6 years I think. It is still running well. I use it every day.
