Hate to say it...

But this sucks! (for me that is)

Especially since my A1 motherboard is still dead. Be my luck I won't be able to afford fixing it until after it comes out.

But this has at least one thing I had been looking forward to trying out. That is the disk-based memory paging. Been wanting to experiment with some stuff but wasn't sure if 512 MB RAM would be enough.

And I am looking forward to this update, whenever I can get both it and a working A1.

Looking at the third screenshot, listing directories by name just got a huge boost. I notice that they have resized icons in the listing. The new look should make it easier to find what you're looking for; the extra visual cues make a difference.

Well unless they are adding new hardware support or supporting Classic Amigas with PPC cards Os4.1 is about as much use as a chocolate fire guard to most people including my self.

But just as soon as they sort out the hardware support let me know as I will then be interested in purchasing a copy but until then OS4.1 will be just another paper launch.

Wow! Now I really regret selling my AmigaOne a year ago.
Nah not really, but if new hardware arrives I probably will give it a go...

This is fantastic news and I will certainly be picking this up as soon as it is available. However, this does mean that there won't be a final update for AmigaOne OS4.0 users, to bring it in-line with the classic Amiga version?

Greaaaaat news. Hope to put my hands on it soon enough.

I don't have a problem paying for it, as it seems really good. To much work has be done from the developers for this version.

Good work guys.

Seems I'ma gonna hafta go medieval on my motherboard so I too can join the revolution.

I was testing some UBoot stuff and suddenly it was dead. Dead as a dodo.

Memo to self: I wonder if I can make some tiny simple JTAG thingie to just check if there is life in the CPU at all. Must investigate. Too bad Freescale and IBM don't speak the same JTAG

Here's to Hyperion without which the Amiga would be long dead.
