This will be great news when it is available espeically if it integrates with GNash.

Perhaps the team can make a statement as to whether they plan on making available to other Amiga flavours, ie, Aros, MorphOS and 68k if possible. If that is the case then others can increase the bounty to make the extra work worth it.

I think you'll find on the bounty page that not all source will be made available to others. Or at least does not need to be made available, according to the Mozilla license. I very much think this will be OS4.1 only.

As far as it is possible, yes. We'd like to have AmigaOS-native menus for example (Mozilla allows native menus), we'll have to see what else can be supported. I suppose that a lot of things can be added via Addons/Plugins (Like an AREXX port for example).

point being, the latest versions of FF crawls on dual-core x86's at 2-3 Ghz.

FF has become everything it was supposed to avoid, when the Firebird was forked out from Mozilla once upon a time.

I am with tomazkid about the important question: Speed.

Will scrolling fast as owb for example ? Will be hardware support for the rendering ? I am sure, that Rogue and others know what they to do, but maybe if OWB will faster, then better spend that activy to make OWB port better ? (just a imho of course).

Will be cool to see some test-binary soon :)

Well IceWeasel always ran okay on my AmigaOne under Debian. So why not? Generally amigaos feels faster (to me) than linux on the same machine so I would be optimistic.
