Nice specs! Shame about the pricetag. $350 is a bit steep for a barebones case in my world, let alone $2500 for the whole package.

It would be nice for once to have an image which is not computer generated, again the commodore logo is mis-shaded thus fake, maybe even the amiga indent too. What makes them think anyone would order something when a real photo doesnt exist.

I think it's a good start for the new Commodore Amiga line. Third quarter is when they will be releasing the Commodore Amiga 1000X. I can see some folks ordering the barebones version to house their favorite PPC mini-ITX mobo so it's in a official Commodore Amiga case.

It would have been nicer if they had real photos but I do expect them to update the images once the cases arrive in 30-45 days.

this is absolutely hilarious. they stuff an off-the-shelf ITX board into an off-the-shelf case -- which you can get on ebay for $65, by the way -- and are charging $2500 for it. oh, and it includes linux mint with a couple of themes and wallpapers.



i mean, they're still rather poorly photoshopping images off the web for their marketing purposes. aren't you guys even slightly embarrassed yet?

no, they'll purchase the wasena case from online resellers for way less than $250 bazza and company are trying to shift it for.

edit: i'm terribly sorry. i misread the website. they're not offering it for $250. they're asking people to hand over $345 for it.

Not at all, for a tiny system, it's fairly high end hardware which makes it rather nice as the first Commodore Amiga in twenty years. I am happy they went with a really nice quad core (i7 2600K) and left the low end dual core for the VIC-Mini.
